Therapeutic Baths
Oil dispersion baths are a special method of anthroposophic therapy. The combination of water, heat, and oil during the bath has a healing effect. Patients who are exhausted or have body heat regulation disorders feel particular relief.
Oil dispersion baths are used for the following indications:
- • Neurodermatitis;
- • Skin allergies;
- • Metabolic disorders;
- • Diabetes;
- • Inflammatory diseases;
- • Arthrosis;
- • Mobility and movement restrictions;
- • Neurodegenerative diseases;
- • Vegetative-vascular dystonia;
- • Cardiovascular system disorders;
- • Chronic exhaustion;
- • Psychiatric and psycho-somatic diseases (depression, anxiety, fears).
During the baths, the dispersion of oil droplets in the water is carried out using a special apparatus. The water-oil mixture covers the human skin as a protective layer, warms the body, and helps maintain heat. Heat, in turn, is the foundation for the stable functioning of the immune system.
A wide selection of oil types is available at Therapie House, which are chosen individually according to the patient's needs. At the center, we use medicinal oils from German brands Weleda and Wala, as well as oils and essential oils (rose, lavender, rosemary, St. John's wort, eucalyptus, arnica, birch, lemon balm, lemon, mallow, and others) prepared by Therapie House pharmacists using a special technology.
